Welcome to my hiking blog!

If you're looking for information on hiking, walking, trails, places to explore, welcome and enjoy the read!

If you're a thrill-seeker looking to climb Mount Everest, this is not the blog for you.

Hi! I'm Isabelle, I love nature and exploring in it. From the mountains to sandy beaches, from city parks to forests - walking or hiking trails can be found all around us and each one offers a unique experience. Hiking and walking gives me peace of mind, it grounds me, it's a stress-reducer, it's a good time to reflect, it's an escape from our chaotic lives. Hiking makes me feel good.

Hiking Wheeler Creek Canyon (Wasatch-Cache National Forest) on a lovely fall day. Ogden, Utah.

Where is she headed?

As a tour guide offering walking tours, I obviously walk a lot... I don't know how many miles I've walked in my life, but I have a few worn hiking shoes that tell me it's a lot! Since moving to Utah and living 5 minutes away from the Wasatch-Cache National Forest, a lot of my hikes start literally at my front door. That doesn't mean my blog posts will focus solely on Utah! On the contrary - I enjoy exploring far beyond the Beehive State. Occasionally I may even take you on a walk on a different continent.
